The Water Resources Authority (WRA) maintains a Document Centre which is responsible for our collection of documents and maps related to Jamaica surface and underground water.  This page highlights a few of the important documents and maps available from our Document Centre.

The WRA is pleased to announce the availability of a hydrostratigraphy map of Jamaica.  This map is available at the WRA's Documentation Centre.

Water Resources Development Master Plan for Jamaica
This plan guides water resources development on a national level.  It contains an inventory of Jamaica's surface water and groundwater resources in relation to supplying the present as well as future demand for water by all users.

Brochures
The WRA has prepared several brochures which provide general information on water pollution in Jamaica, water conservation and protection from a Jamaican perspective, Jamaica's surface water resources, the origin and occurrence of Jamaica's groundwater, World Day for Water, and of course the Water Resources Authority.

In-house Library
Some of our publications are rare classics on Jamaica's surface water and groundwater which remain at all times within our library.  However, you are invited to visit our Document Centre to read them.
