In St, Catherine, within the Rio Cobre Basin there are rainfall intensity gauges that report precipitation events by telemetry to the WRA’s base station. The locations of these gauges are at Riversdale, Guys Hill, Sandy Hill and Ewarton.

In St. Ann intensity gauges are located at Murphy Hill and Cave River at Bogue Filter Plant
In Portland intensity gauges are located at Belvedere and West Prospect
In St. Andrew in the Hope River watershed.
