Dr. Shaneica Lester

Dr. Shaneica Lester is a Human Geography Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Geology at The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She is also a member of the Land Development and Utilization Commission, Jamaica and previously served as a senior advisor and consultant to the Minister’s water portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation. She has more than seven years’ experience working on several national and regionally significant projects exploring issues of climate change adaptation and water management in the urban and agricultural context.

Shaneica graduated from The University of the West Indies Jamaica, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Geology (Hons.) and a PhD in Geography.
