Mr. Edson Carr

Edson Carr is a dedicated environmentalist, driven by a passion for ecological balance, with a particular focus on how human interactions with the built environment can create sustainable and harmonious living spaces. With over 20 years of combined experience across the fields of Urban Planning, Real Estate, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Waste Management, Edson has cultivated a well-rounded and impactful career. He has also served as an Assistant Lecturer in the Urban and Regional Planning Programme at the University of Technology (UTech Ja.).

Currently, Edson is the Projects and Planning Manager at the National Solid Waste Management Authority. He is also the Honorary Secretary of the Jamaica Institute of Planners and actively participates in several Government of Jamaica boards.

Edson holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Science Sc in the Built Environment, with a focus on Geoinformatics.
